Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 15, 2026
BeadDraft turns photos and text into bead patterns entirely inside your browser. It is operated by Clooms, an independent digital-product company (Boulder, Colorado, USA). This policy explains, in plain terms, what happens to your images, locally saved projects, and advertising-related data.
What the tool processes
When you upload a photo or type text, BeadDraft reads it and converts it into a grid of beads on your device. The image is decoded and sampled in your browser. It is not uploaded to a server, and there is no account to create.
What stays in your browser
- Your confirmed project — the grid, its protected cells and, if you keep it, the original image — is saved locally in your browser’s IndexedDB storage on that one device.
- Exports (a printable PDF chart, a PNG image, a CSV bead list, or a JSON backup) are generated locally and downloaded to your device.
What leaves your browser
Site requests are sent to Cloudflare Workers, which hosts BeadDraft and processes technical information such as your IP address and browser type to serve and protect the site. Loading Google AdSense also sends requests to Google and its advertising partners; these may include your IP address, browser information, page URL and advertising identifiers. BeadDraft does not upload your selected images, entered pattern text or saved project files as part of its pattern-making workflow.
Google AdSense and third-party cookies
BeadDraft uses Google AdSense to support this free tool. Google and other third-party advertising vendors may use cookies to serve, measure and personalize ads based on your visits to this site and other websites. Google advertising cookies allow Google and its partners to show ads informed by those visits. Learn more about Google advertising technologies and how Google uses data on partner sites.
You can manage your choices or opt out of personalized Google advertising in Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of participating third-party vendors’ personalized advertising through YourAdChoices. Your browser lets you block or delete cookies; opting out of personalization does not remove all ads. Where a consent message is presented, use its controls to accept, reject or manage the available advertising choices.
Your controls
Because your work is stored only in your browser, you are in control of it. Clearing your browser’s site data (or its IndexedDB storage for this site) permanently removes saved projects from that device. Use the JSON export if you want to keep a copy before clearing. There is no server-side copy for us to delete.
